About Dial-A-Ride

The Dial-A-Ride service is a door-to-door service for people with disabilities to access employment, healthcare and other essential services. The service operates twelve specially-adapted buses and is a demand-responsive service, meaning that users call to book a trip (noting that there is currently a waiting list for the service).

The service has a dedicated call centre – managed and run by an organisation for Persons with Disabilities. For bookings, queries and complaints, call 031 023 0868.
